The idiot proof diet is a strictly diet handbook that claims that they can help you lose 9 pounds every 11 days. Not just the 1st 11 days but EVERY 11 days. Is it real? Does the idiot proof diet truly work?
I definitely could not believe it when I first heard about if from my brother.
However, after looking for such a long time for a weight loss diet that will work without having to starve myself to death, I decided to go ahead and buy. The diet handbook consists of a 11 day diet cycle that you can keep repeating (with different food) and keep losing the pounds. So now, after the first cycle of the idiot proof diet, here is my idiot proof diet reviews.
Did the weight loss diet handbook work? Did I Lose the 9 Pounds?
Even though I didn’t lose exactly 9 pounds but it was really close. I drop 8.3 pounds through the very first round of the idiot proof diet. I even saw results within days of being on the hiet handbook.
It is really easy to follow without any complicated rules or procedures. Plus, besides the that I paid upfront for the handbook, there was no more addition program or equipments that I needed to buy besides that.
The food on the diet is easily found and best of all, I could find food that don’t need much cooking so I could get my meal ready in less than 5 minutes.
Diet…Do I have to Starve Myself in order to lose weight?
The moment I speak about my weight loss diet, my friends would start questioning on whether there was a need to starve themselves.
However in this particular diet, there isn’t any need to starve. And…you will get to eat 4 meals per day! Yes, just by eating more meals a day, your body will be constantly working on the food. The increase in the metabolism rate of your body ensures that it helps you to burn more calories than it used to.
Then, comes the following question…which are the types of food we need to avoid?
You definitely can’t be wolfing down deep fried chicken wings each and everyday and still think that you can lose weight. But you will be able to eat your favourite food before the second cycle of the weight loss diet. I will get to that in awhile.
Now, you will still be able to eat your carbohydrates like pastas. You will have the choice from a range of food like meat, which I can’t live without, cheese, eggs and definitely fruits and vegetables. This diet ensures that you will be dropping pounds without hurting your health. Hence, there is no need to worry about need to see a doctor for the lacking of nutrients from the diet.
Alright..Here’s the Exciting Part
You know how you can never stay on one diet for too long? In the end, you will end up craving for food that you cannot have. Yes, it is true that when you have something that you cannot have, you will want it more.
I’ve been on so many diets and failed so many times simple because I would try to last as long as I can without certain food or following certain diet. But after a month or so, I would usually give up on the diet as the results don’t come fast enough and it is just way too much sacrifice for a diet that barely works!
Here is the best part of the diet. Once the 11 days of the idiot proof diet is over, you will be able to enjoy 3 days of “cheat” from the diet. While you’re on a 3 days mini break from the idiot proof diet, you will be able to indulge in ANYTHING you want. I am currently in my 3 days break and I am absolutely loving it!
Will I Put Back My Weight During the 3-Day Break from the Diet?
If you had followed the diet guide well, your body will already be attuned to burning more calories than you normally do so no matter what you eat, it is burning lots of calories off your body.
Also, during the 3 days of cheat in the diet, I didn’t crave much for unhealthy food, I actually craved quite a lot for fruits. Maybe it was a new habit learned from the 11 days of diet. Besides that, I don’t seem to have the appetite to eat too much due to the habit of eating 4 times a day.
My close circle of friends got onto the diet with me and it worked great for all of us. There was no desire to wolf down all the unhealthy food we could lay our hands on as there was no need to starve ourselves during the weight loss diet. We did eat till we were satisfied and when the break came, it just allowed us to indulge in the food we love so that we wouldn’t end up bingeing on them like what people normally do at the end of a long diet.
Therefore, the 3 days cheat from the idiot proof diet is a truly fantastic idea…especially when it is for a person like me. I really don’t have lots of self-discipline so usually, I can’t help but cheat in all my diets.
This is the very first diet that I could go through without cheating. I was able to sail through the idiot proof diet and dropped my weight easily!

One reason why I didn’t have to cheat was the fact that they didn’t have strict rules like you can only eat this or that today. They give you so much flexibility, allowing you to make your choices based on your preference.
Plus….you get to have night snacks!
Yes! I almost shouted out in joy when I saw that. I’m the sorta person that stays up late every night and those normal diet would have me growling in hunger. My stomach would end up being so hungry that I can’t even sleep properly. Usually, I end up eating so much due to the hunger that it results in me eating more that I should have eaten.
And…You will get to drink even wine!
I’m sorry if you think that you will be able to down bottles of beer down your throat per day. You will be able to enjoy your drinks, but not too much. It is alright to drink a glass of wine per day.

It has simple instructions to follow and the diet is easy even for who are looking for a way to start on their first weight loss journey. It is truly one idiot proof diet.
When you see how easy it is, you will understand how really anyone will be able to do it.
